Rockford College is committed to providing ongoing student support to the students. Our support staff will assist students from the time of enrolment until they complete the training program. Our support staff will engage with the individual student in a number of ways in order to understand their needs and provide necessary internal or external support in every step of their journey with the Rockford College, so that they could successfully complete their course.

Our Support staff will engage with the students in the following ways;

  • During Enrolment
    Rockford College has developed an enrolment application form which includes specific questions for the student in regards to their cultural and educational background, spoken English ability, skill in literacy and numeracy, any individual needs that may prevent their full participation in the training program. This will assist Rockford College to identify if the student needs any additional support.
  • Enrolment interview
    Rockford College may also interview students after assessing their application and the supporting documents they have provided. This interview includes discussions relating to individual needs, Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN), rights and obligations, recognition opportunity etc.
